Adidas Spezial Pictures
More than just aesthetics. Suede shoes, like suede jackets, usually aren't terribly functional: They're typically not very durable, and a bad spell of weather can doom them to a Salvation Army rack. That wasn't the case 25 years ago, so now the Spezial is the contemporary exception to this rule. These sneakers' tough exterior can handle some roughing around, and the cupsole construction and lightly padded footbed will ensure that your feet and ankles don't get beat up in the process. Besides, you don't to be athletic to sport these - they look great with a pair of jeans or flat-front pants.
The original Spezial was first released in 1979 and was designed as an indoor handball shoe worn by the worlds finest players. This version features iron, navy and red colourway, a full suede upper and a durable full rubber outsole.
